What effect does Estelle™-35ED have?

Estelle™-35ED contains both an oestrogen and a progestogen like hormone.


When Estelle™-35ED is used in the treatment of Polycystic Ovary Symptoms, it stabilises hormone levels. When treatment is stopped after a number of months, the hormone levels should return to normal. This should then lead to a normal menstrual cycle.


While on treatment the anti-androgenic effect of the cyproterone acetate should help reduce the symptoms of PCOS.
